Search for a position

Now that you have completed the requirements to receive your Official Statement of Status of Eligibility and are working on the tutorials available through the Advanced Learning Environment, it is time to begin searching for a teaching position.

Go to Teach in Florida, Florida's official teacher recruiting website.  Here you can search for open positions around the state or within a particular region.  You can check out the contact information for each district as well as link to the website from the Recruitment Coordinators' page on the Teach In Florida website.  At the school district's website, click on Employment Opportunities/Jobs (each website labels their openings slightly differently) and look at the job vacancies. Then, click on "On-line" Application Form and fill it out. You must fill out the online application form to be considered for any position.  Please remember that application procedures vary by county.  Review the procedures for your counties of interest to make sure that you have met all the requirements.

For information on private schools and job opportunities, visit the Florida Council of Independent Schools  You can view job opportunities and also click on member schools to find out more about each school.  It is not a complete list of the private schools in Florida, but rather lists only those schools who are members of the Florida Council of Independent Schools.
