INTERVIEW PREPARATION HINTS

Each position will be different and one must prepare for every interview individually. Most interviewers focus on the premise that past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior. Employers, therefore, gather specific examples of your job related capabilities by concentrating on actual performance in the real world.

Prepare, Prepare, Prepare

  • Research the institution and position for which you intend to apply.

  • What responsibilities and skills are necessary to be successful on the job.

  • Practice answering general questions about your career goals and objectives, skills and abilities, personal and motivational factors, extra-curricular activities and college experiences, academic programs and achievements, work experience, knowledge of the facility, accomplishments and achievements, and salary and benefits.
